Women in fire: Blazing through barriers

The Southern Region Women in Wildfire crew pose for a photo after a long day of prescribed burning in the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. They participated in just over 25,000 acres of prescribed burning in the Southern Region this season. The crew traveled to five different states and spent 22 days conducting prescribed burns.
