We’re taking the day off here at Arkansas Outside but thought we would share this Article from Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine on this President’s Day. For an Arkansas connection we might include that in 1998, President Bill Clinton launched “Great Outdoors Week,” seven days to celebrate our relationship with nature in all facets: recreation, art, therapy, conservation, and so much more. So popular was the initiative that, over time, it blossomed into Great Outdoors Month, held annually in June. (Great Outdoors Month)
