Arkansas Outside is NOT the owner or organizer of these events (unless otherwise noted). We aggregate these events into this one place to allow our readers a chance to see what outdoor recreation events are going on around the state. There is no need for FOMO when playing outside.

2025 5k @ the LPGA
The 5k @ the LPGA returns on Saturday, September 13th! Kick off the 2025 #NWAChampionship with the largest and most spirited 5k race in NW Arkansas! Join us as we Run for Good benefitting Mercy Health Foundation.
Breakfast & Awards: Join us after the race for a free breakfast, lawn games, vendor expo, and the Awards Ceremony as we celebrate the kickoff to #NWAChampionship Week! Bring your family and friends for a full morning of entertainment!
Race Packages: Includes a performance t-shirt, daily #NWAChampionship Tournament ticket, race medal, breakfast after the race and more! Packet pickup will be held at the Walmart AMP on Friday, September 12th from 2pm-6pm. Packets can also be picked up on Race Day starting at 6:30am. Packets are only guaranteed for the first 1,500 participants to arrive, please arrive early to ensure you receive a packet.
Corporate Challenge: Join the Annual Corporate Challenge to compete with your coworkers against over 30 other local companies. Teams compete for the titles of Fittest Office, Fastest Office, and Leading Ladies in NW Arkansas, and prizes will be awarded to the Most Spirited Team! Only 5 participants are needed to form a team.
Volunteers Needed: Over 50 volunteers are needed to help the 5k @ the LPGA a success every year. Volunteers serve in positions such as course marshals, water station, and finish line volunteers. Volunteers receive a t-shirt, race gift bag and ticket to the #NWAChampionship.
