Now for the 10 things every Arkansas Mountain Biker should do:
- Ride all five IMBA Epic trails in the state (Womble, Syllamo, Upper Buffalo, LOViT, ONRT).
- Try Bike Polo.
- Do an Alley Cat Race.
- Compete in every race in the Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series (Bonus: include all of the Marathon Series Races).
- Try Cyclocross.
- Ride at least one trail in each of the states touching Arkansas (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, and Oklahoma).
- Overnight mountain biking on the Ouachita National Trail.
- Join a trail crew (Friends of the Syllamo Trail, Ozark Off-Road Cyclists, Central Arkansas Trail Alliance, Conway Off-road Group, NorthEast Arkansas Trail Organization, Friends of Arkansas Single Track) or participate in a Paydirt Day.
- Ride all the Arkansas State Park Mountain Bike Trails (Devil’s Den, Hobbs, Lake Fort Smith, Mount Nebo, Pinnacle Mountain, Woolly Hollow, Cane Creek, White Oak Lake, Village Creek, etc.).
- Try Enduro.
