Scott Schroen, executive director of Oz Trails in Northwest Arkansas, knows that a six-digit cash purse in a mountain bike race series can attract the top athletes in the sport. But he also knows that a great event will be worthwhile for the casual racer and the spectators, too. To that end, Schroen promises that the recently announced Epic Rides’ Oz Trails Off-Road staged out of Bentonville, Ark., will be the cream of the crop for all.
