There are some great prizes available during the ride. Free entry into next year’s Dirty Fondo is awarded to the Fastest Finisher of the 40 mile route and is sponsored by Crafton Tull Engineering Services. Congratulations to Brent Findlay for winning free entry this year with his effort from last year. The 8 Mile Loop Strava segment begins at the second rest stop and the fastest through the segment win prizes from Trek Bicycle Little Rock. The Bob Long Sprint Strava segment is located two miles from the Finish Line. Arkansas Cycling & Fitness is awarding prizes for this segment. The Race to the Treasure Chest is sponsored by the Grumpy Rabbit restaurant in Lonoke. Be the first riders to the Treasure Chest rest stop and grab gift cards to the Grumpy Rabbit. A new prize this year, sponsored by Shift Modern Cyclery, is the Race Across the Levee. All kids under 16 are eligible to ride to the first rest stop, located at the end of the Staton Farm Levee and receive prizes at the rest stop. Kids under 16 years of age can register for half price, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is registered for the ride.
And as always, Gravel Ducks will be available at all rest stops. Grab one of the rubber ducks, but only one, and return it to the Finish Line where you can win prizes at the Prize Table.
The Build-a-Beer Station is sponsored by Stickyz Rock’n’Roll Chicken Shack. Check your duck to see if you get to build your own six pack of beer from this station.
Stop by the Epic Glass Recycling photo booth and get a selfie of you, your bike and your bike crew.
This year’s beer garden is sponsored by Lake Liquor. The beer garden will be stocked with craft beers from your favorite local breweries.
Lunch is sponsored by Whole Hog Cafe North Little Rock. Bring your bib number to the Big Barn Cafe and get some delicious bar-b-que from Whole Hog Cafe. They start slinging the ‘que at 11:00am.
Then get a cup of your favorite Loblolly Creamery ice cream for dessert, compliments of FIS.
All proceeds from the Arvest Dirty Fondo go directly to Recycle Bikes for Kids to support the mission of giving free bikes to kids, providing adults the opportunity to earn a bike, and supporting bike infrastruture and education in our community.
