This is a canoe and Kayak race on the White River from the base of Beaver Dam in Eureka Springs AR to the Golden Gate Bridge in Beaver, Arkansas. The main event and race will be 13 miles from the dam to the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a shorter 5 Mile option to race from the dam to the Hwy 62 Bridge at Riverview Resort. There will also be an event parade on the river on the morning of the race to kick it off. In addition to the race, there will be an after-party and awards ceremony along with raffle prizes and a BBQ dinner, and Live Music. There will be a check-in and mixer on the evening of August 8th with some live music as well. This event is a benefit for the Western Carroll County Fire Districts and all net proceeds will help provide equipment and training to aid with responder training and safety.
