Join Us for the Confident Commuting Workshop at Fayetteville Public Library
Fayetteville, AR – Are you interested in biking to work or school but unsure where to start? Join us on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fayetteville Public Library for the Confident Commuting workshop, hosted by Trailblazers. This informative, off-bike session will help new and experienced cyclists confidently learn how to navigate roads and pathways.
Participants will receive practical tips on choosing the right bike, essential gear, road safety, traffic etiquette, and local bike laws. The workshop covers everything from basic commuting strategies to understanding key infrastructure like bike lanes and shared roads. No matter your skill level, this event will ensure you feel safe and prepared for your next bike commute. As a bonus, all participants will receive free bike lights, ensuring greater safety and visibility on the road.
Location: Ziegler Reception Room, Fayetteville Public Library, 401 West Mountain Street.
Cost: Free, thanks to the generous support of the Walmart Foundation. However, please inform us 48 hours in advance if you can’t attend so we can offer your spot to someone else.
