Arkansas Outside is NOT the owner or organizer of these events (unless otherwise noted). We aggregate these events into this one place to allow our readers a chance to see what outdoor recreation events are going on around the state. There is no need for FOMO when playing outside.

Good Ol’ Days Festival 5K in Downtown Mount Ida
Join us for the annual Good Ol’ Days 5k in Downtown Mount Ida, Arkansas! An old fashioned event that is perfect for the whole family.
The fun includes an improved path around our beautiful city, door prizes, great post-race food, and plenty of fun! Grab your friends and family, you are not going to want to miss this one! There are Tshirts available, for an additional $10.
Come out and enjoy the Good Ol’ Days. This festival began in 1990, and went on hiatus during Covid. NOW WE ARE BACK and will be better than ever!! We’ll host craft vendors, food trucks, music, a baggo/cornhole tournament, a huge car show with LIVE MUSIC, which all equals a lot of FUN!
The race begins and ends at our high school and is clearly marked along the way! We will have a water/snack station posted along the route.
5k registration includes a bib and an awesome medal, if you place in the top 3 of each category! $25 Categories: 0-9, 10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-UP Men AND 0-9, 10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-UP Women
Race Day Packet Pickup will be 1 hour before the start of the race!

8:25am National Anthem – 8:30 Race Starts!
Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!
