13th Annual King of the Crag

October 10
King of the Crag 2026
Hex Carbon Repair

The King of the Crag returns to Jamestown Crag for its 13th year on Saturday, October 10, 2026. What started as a grassroots climbing competition in the Arkansas Ozarks has grown into one of the state’s most celebrated outdoor events, earning a Henry Award from the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism.

More than a climbing competition, King of the Crag is a gathering of climbers, families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for adventure and the preservation of Arkansas’ special outdoor places. Participants can compete in a variety of climbing challenges, while spectators can enjoy the action, camp at The Crag, and experience the vibrant outdoor community that has made this event a favorite for more than a decade.
