Pie Ride

December 7, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Pie Ride
Jackalope

Welcome to the Pie Ride!

Keo, Arkansas is fast becoming Bike Friendly and everyone hopes you enjoy your new adventures in this small, beautiful South Lonoke County town.

The Pie Ride starts at 9:00am, Saturday, December 7, 2024 from the Keo Airstrip on Pecan Road. The airstrip is located one-half mile east of Keo on Pecan Road at the intersection of Cemetary Road.

Packet Pickup will be at Diamond Bear Brewing, 600 N. Broadway Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4th.

The morning of the ride, check in with the Keo Collective at the Airstrip and you will be directed to the start line on the runway. You can use the bag you received at Packet Pickup as a drop bag. Write your name on the outside of the bag and put any clothes, shoes, or hats you want to change into after the ride and the Keo Collective will get the bags to the Finish Line at the Pecan Festival.

Once the ride gets underway, all riders will parade down Pecan Road towards Keo, cross Highway 165, and parade past Keo’s Main Street, where the annual Pecan Festival will be in full swing.  All riders are then welcome to complete their chosen route as fast or as slow as desired.

The official Finish Line is back at Keo on Main Street. Be sure to ride past the Keo Airstrip and return to the Pecan Festival on your bike. Pick up your drop bag, change into street clothes, store your bike in the Secure Bike Area, and enjoy the festival.

You will receive a piece of pie, or cake, from the Pie Ride Booth.  You will also receive two drink coupons to enjoy your choice of Diamond Bear Brewing offerings at the festival.

Riders who sign up the morning of the ride are not guaranteed pie or cake after the ride.

After enjoying your pie, your brews, and the festival, you can noodle back to your vehicle at the Keo Airstrip.  Remember to grab your drop bag with your kit, helmet, and riding shoes before heading back to the airstrip on your bike.
