Welcome to our Calendar of Events.
Arkansas Outside is NOT the owner or organizer of these events (unless otherwise noted). We aggregate these events into this one place to allow our readers a chance to see what outdoor recreation events are going on around the state. There is no need for FOMO when playing outside.

Rose Creek Walk
February 21 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

This is a Rose Creek Initiative Outing!
If you have any questions, please email Mike Sprague at msprague17@hotmail.com, or call or text him at 406-370-4792.
Meet at: the warehouse parking lot (2226 North Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72202) near Gill Street and near where Rose Creek enters the Arkansas River. From there we will shuttle to the Burger King/Fire Station area on Markham Street and walk the creek back.
This walk is a great adventure that journeys down Rose Creek through the Capitol View-Stifft Station Neighborhood (and beyond). Following the creek is quite a trek and goes through a diversity of landscapes that can’t be seen elsewise. It’s great way to get to know the creek and the area!
This 2½-to-3-mile walk is mostly in the creek, and much of it is on rocky, uneven surfaces.
Plan for about two hours, and because much of it will be in the water, tall rubber boots are recommended.
