This event encompasses the philosophy of our legacy tour in Eureka Springs – Shred downhill all day!!

This event is open to all riders of the gravity heritage. Love doing laps in the park with your amigos? This event is for you! Think downhill riding isn’t hard? This event may be for you too!

-Pro & Xtreme Participants must complete a total of 14 laps – Two laps on each of DH1-DH7.  NO shuttles for the Solo Xtreme.

-Expert Participants must complete a total of 12 laps – Two laps on each of DH1-DH6.

-Amateur & Junior Participants must complete a total of 10 laps – Two laps on each of DH2-DH6.

-Registration includes Shuttle pass for race day.  The Xtreme category is not included in this.

-Lowest cumulative time wins.

-Awards for Podium and Overall Pro cash prizes. (Cash prize structure will be announced asap/prior to Registration closing and may be based off of participation)

-SPORTident professional timing system.

-Timed ‘Downhill All Day’ #downhillallday

-Special Event Swag for all Participants.

-Fun atmosphere in the pit area when you’re not racing to hang out with your friends and family.

-Expect lots of metal and rock music All Day.

-Post race meal for all registered participants.

-Aid station on course.

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY

Will include Pre-Ride and Early Check In

SATURDAY

Will include all race categories timing chip pickup, race times, mandatory Racers Meeting, Pre race meal, etc.

*Full schedule will be posted the week of the race and emailed out to all registered participants.

 

RULES

-The winning Racer is determined by completing their respective categories lap total in the shortest total combined time.

-Racers can choose to ride any course in any order. (Stages 1 & 7 CLOSE @ 12PM)

-Chosen Gaps, Drops and Mandatory Jumps will be taped off!

-Timing stations will be placed at the start and finish of each stage. Participants must stay on the race stages throughout the event. Racers deviating from the designated stages will be penalized.

-Once Racers have entered the lift line through the pit area, there is no cutting in line.

-In the case of a downed Racer that receives assistance provided by another participant – the helping Racer’s time will be adjusted by averaging the lap times from the particular stage, or a re-run authorized by the Race Director. The downed Racer may not qualify for a re-run. If you cannot contact the Race Director wait at the Timing Booth until receiving direction.

-On site waiver will be required to be signed at the venue. Parent must be present at Check In to sign waiver for all minors.

Venue Parking (limited space) | Lake Leatherwood Gravity Trails Parking Lot (Upper DH Parking / Shuttle Drop-Off) | Enter at the driveway on the left just pass 14582 US-62 Eureka Springs, Arkansas 72632 (Topo Motel / ‘old’ Country Inn Of Eureka Springs).

Overflow Parking | Lake Leatherwood ‘Ball Fields’ 1303 CR 204 Eureka Springs, AR 72632 | Enter off of Highway 62, Do Not Drive All The Way To The Lake, drive around the loop right off of Highway 62 until you see the sign for the ‘Leatherwood Ball Fields’. Park in the gravel parking lot nose in, not blocking other park patrons from entering or using the walking trails. Shuttles will pickup participants and drive you back up the hill to the race venue.

Camping – No camping will be available at this event location.

Please check out Topo Motel, RV parks, camp grounds, hotels, Airbnb’s, etc. in the area for your accommodations.

Dogs – If you don’t want to be tethered all weekend leave your dog at home. Even good dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Water – We recommend you come prepared with enough water to be self-sufficient. We will provide water at the aid station during race times.

Pack It In, Pack Out – If you haul it in you haul it out. Leave no trace. Respect.

Food – Meal provided to racers on Race Day only. Meal ticket obtained at Registration & Timing tent after turning in your timing chip. Light Aid Station provided during race.  Please bring any other nutrition and snacks you may need.

Waiver – On-site waiver signed by the Racer. Minors must have parent onsite at Check In to sign waiver.

 

PREPARE

WATER – Bring more than you think you’ll need. Plan to have at least 50-60 ounces on you at all times while riding.

SNACKS – Have carbs and protein on hand between meals

SAFETY – This is not the time to skimp on protective equipment.

TRASH – If you pack it in, you pack it out.

NICE TO HAVE – Bug Spray, spare tubes, and other parts.

We highly suggest a full-face helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads as well. Riding within your limits is essential.

 

WAIT LIST

This race has a rider limit of 200. Once that number is reached you can register for the Wait List, and if/when spots become available, we will pull from the Wait List in the order of registration and you will be charged.  Please note we will pull from the Wait List automatically until the day before the race (in this case; Friday) so if you can no longer attend please email april@slaughtertrailguides.com to have yourself removed from the Wait List.  It is the Racers responsibility to monitor their email to see if they have been removed from the Wait List and in to the race.

 

REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY

These are rain, shine, ice or snow events except under extreme circumstances in which we will notify all participants of any cancelations.

Refunds | With a 15% fee we will honor a refund when the request is at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the race.

If the request is made with less than two weeks to the race then a refund will not be available.

No refunds after you have arrived for the race, after the race starts/has happened or the Racer is no longer able to race due to a crash during pre-ride or the race.

Merchandise purchases and registration service fees are non refundable.

We do not accept participant to participant transfers or the selling of entries.
