Work party for Earth Day at Allsopp Park
April 22, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Earth Day is April 22nd and CATA is hosting a trail work party at Allsopp Park in Little Rock to clear the trails and give some love to one of our favorite trail systems.
Feel free to volunteer for the whole time or for a couple of hours. Bring a friend or your family, lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteer check-in and lunch will be located at the large pavilion next to the tennis courts. Our friends at Whole Hog Cafe North Little Rock are generously donating their tasty food. (Please sign up with the link provided if you would like lunch.)
The main projects will include trail clearing (removing shrubs, privet, branches, etc), irrigation and trail improvement where there is erosion, trash removal, etc. We will also need volunteers to help with sign-up, lunch set-up, and support the various work teams.
No experience is needed, just a willingness to help and be outside.
Bring your work gloves and let’s make our park beautiful.
