Calling all energetic youngsters aged 3 to 6! Get ready to test your Strider skills at the upcoming Adventure-Cross Stage Race in Bentonville, Arkansas! This exciting event, taking place on Saturday, October 12th, promises a fun-filled weekend for the whole family.
Bentonville, home to the only Strider Bikes store in the USA, will be buzzing with activity as children put their balance and pedaling abilities to the ultimate test. The Adventure-Cross Stage Race is designed to be more than just a simple Strider ride – it’s a multi-stage challenge inspired by Cyclocross races.
Here’s how it works: on the starting signal, kids will take off running for a lap before hopping on their Strider 14x bikes and “striding” (propelling themselves with their feet) for another lap. Then, it’s pit stop time! Parents or guardians will get their chance to shine as they transform the Strider into a pedal bike by installing the pedal kit. Finally, the young racers will showcase their newfound pedaling power on the final lap to the finish line!
This unique stage race is a fantastic opportunity to develop various skills, from balance and coordination to endurance and teamwork (with the pit stop crew!).
The Adventure-Cross Stage Race is Strider’s second racing event of the season, following hot on the heels of the Strider Cup in Rapid City, South Dakota on September 14th. - 1:00 – 3:00 PM – Family Fun Activities
- 1:00 – 2:15 PM – Packet Pickup and Tech Inspection
- 3:00 – 6:00 PM – Strider Adventure-Cross Race (3, 4, 5, and 6-year-olds – 14x Bikes in Balance and Pedal Mode)
