RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas High Country Race has landed a major backer for its 2025 edition, with Brightspeed announced as the presenting sponsor of the endurance bikepacking challenge.
The event, which covers more than 1,000 miles of steep climbs, rugged backroads and single-track trails, will roll out Oct. 4 from the historic Russellville Train Depot. Riders have just 10 days to complete the self-supported course, making their own decisions about when to rest, refuel and push forward as the clock keeps running.
“Just like this race brings people together, Brightspeed is committed to connecting communities,” said Lymari Muñoz, local marketing manager at Brightspeed. “We’re proud to support an event that celebrates resilience, camaraderie and the spirit of Arkansas.”

Race Director Chuck Campbell said the partnership will help elevate the event’s reach and impact. “We’re excited to partner with a company that values community connection as much as we do,” Campbell said.
The High Country Race has earned a reputation for toughness and community spirit. Alongside the physical challenge, festivities include a kickoff party in downtown Russellville, and every finisher, first or last, is greeted with a warm celebration. Fans worldwide can once again track riders in real time through online “dot watching” at trackleaders.com/arkhigh25.
The race also highlights Arkansas’s growing role in the national endurance cycling scene, with past winners setting course records and drawing attention from the international bikepacking community.
