Texarkana will host the 2026 Run the Line Half Marathon on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The race offers a unique experience that begins in Texas and finishes in Arkansas. It is the only half-marathon where participants start in one state and cross into another before reaching the finish line in downtown Texarkana, Arkansas.
Race Day Essentials
The race begins at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Texas Boulevard in Texarkana, Texas. The finish line is located at 3rd and Wood Streets in Texarkana, Arkansas, near the Hopkins Ice House. Runners and relay teams that finish by 11:30 a.m. will receive a finisher medal and a T shirt. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee apparel.
Participants can choose from three options:
- Half Marathon. A 13.1 mile course through Texas and Arkansas. Entry fee is 65 dollars per person.
- Two Person Relay. Each runner covers 6.55 miles. Entry fee is 65 dollars per person.
- Four Person Relay. Each runner covers about 3.27 miles. Entry fee is 65 dollars per person.
All runners, walkers, and relay teams must finish by 11:30 a.m.
Who Can Run
Runners must be at least 13 years old on race day. Youth aged 13 through 17 receive an automatic 5 dollar discount. Participants aged 65 and older also receive an automatic 5 dollar discount during registration.
Relay teams must register together or back to back and must provide a team name. Teams are responsible for getting themselves to exchange points. Parking is available at each exchange zone. For timing chips, both runners in two person teams wear chips. In four person teams the first and last runners wear chips. Race officials ask that no participant cross the finish line more than once while wearing a timing chip.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Racquet and Jog on Richmond Road in Texarkana, Texas. Participants should bring their RunSignUp confirmation and bib number. Race day packet pickup is available from 6:15 to 7:10 a.m. inside the Bi State Justice Building at Broad and Stateline Avenue. There is no race day registration.

Even if you are not racing, Run the Line creates an energetic weekend in downtown Texarkana. The finish area includes music and plenty of community support. After the race, visitors can explore downtown shops, grab food, enjoy local art, or take in the atmosphere surrounding this annual regional event.
