Arkansas’s New Shuttle Access Downhill Destination Arrives in the Ozarks
Mulberry Mountain Gravity Park, located on Mulberry Mountain in the Arkansas Ozarks, has announced its official opening weekend for March 6 to 8, 2026. The new shuttle-accessible downhill mountain bike park brings purpose-built intermediate and advanced trails to the slopes above Mulberry Mountain.
Nestled along the Pig Trail National Scenic Byway in the Ozark National Forest, the park introduces downhill-specific riding to an area already known for outdoor recreation. The trails were constructed by Gradient Trails LLC, a professional trail building company whose work spans locations across the United States.
“Opening weekend marks the culmination of vision, hard work, a passion to create Arkansas’s premier downhill destination,” said Dewey Patton of Mulberry Mountain. “We’re inviting seasoned riders and gravity enthusiasts from across the region, and beyond, to join us for an experience unlike any found in Arkansas.”
The park is designed for riders seeking shuttle served downhill experiences. The trails listed on the Mulberry Mountain Gravity Park website include intermediate and advanced routes featuring machine built sections, natural features, and terrain shaped for gravity riding. Individual trail descriptions, difficulty ratings, and maps are available at mulberrygravity.com.

Mulberry Mountain as an Outdoor Recreation Hub
The Gravity Park joins the broader recreation scene on Mulberry Mountain which has long hosted events festivals and trail users on the Pig Trail National Scenic Byway. The area is surrounded by camping, backpacking, road cycling, paddling, and climbing opportunities giving riders an easy way to build a full weekend around the shuttle park.
The Pig Trail is a destination on its own and the forested slopes offer sweeping views that make each run feel like a trip into the high Ozarks.
Trails Built by Gradient Trails LLC
