Bentonville, AR -The newest edition to the All Kids Bike Program (Northside Elementary School, 814 W Locust St. Cabot, AR) will host an All Kids Bike program reveal on September 15th, 2023, at 1:50 PM.

“Cabot School District has been a target for this program for over a year,” says Bike Education Program Manager Anya Bruhin. “We have been working with Cabot Chaos Arkansas NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) head coach Kevin Grinstead since early 2022 to build up support for this program. These nine schools bring our state total to 95 schools teaching students to ride in early elementary. That is a beautiful thing.”

Along with a strong NICA team of middle school and high school mountain bikers, Cabot is home to one of 3 BMX race tracks in Arkansas. These programs make rolling out a Kindergarten learn-to-ride program a great fit for the community.

“We are really excited about Cabot Elementary’s decision to use the grant funds to provide every student with the opportunity to participate in bicycling,” says Unity Health President/CEO Mark Amox. Every year, we are eager to bring the Unity Kids Ambassador Program back into the schools in our communities. We know early education and experiences are key to building healthy habits in children, and we are passionate about capturing these students at their most impressionable moments where learning healthy habits is fun and impactful.”

“We are so grateful to The Trailblazers organization and Unity Health for this exciting opportunity to share our passion for teaching students how to live a healthy lifestyle. Through this grant, we are able to give all students access to a high-quality bike instructional program that is district-wide. says Cabot School District Health & Wellness Coordinator Kelly Spencer.

About All Kids Bike

All Kids Bike launched in 2018 with a simple mission: to give every child in America the opportunity to learn how to ride a bike in school. Its Kindergarten Learn-to-Ride PE program, which is active in over 1,000 schools across all 50 states, includes everything needed to teach thousands of students at a school for 7-10 years: teacher training and certification; a fleet of 24 bikes, pedal conversion kits, and helmets; an instructional bike for the teacher; 2 rolling metal bike storage racks, and access to a resource portal and live support for the life of the program. With substantial underwriting from the Strider Bike Company, the All Kids Bike Learn-to-Ride Kindergarten PE Program is on track to teach over one million kids to ride over the 10-year lifespan of the program. In 2023, All Kids Bike added an Inclusive Learn-to-Ride Program to empower middle and high school students and adults with developmental disabilities with the life skill of riding a bicycle.
