Court was in session Saturday as the All Rise Century Gavel came hammering down. After much deliberation the jury was deadlocked. All riders were relieved when the decision came down. The judge declared a mistrial and the whole Century ride would have to be repeated again next year. This event gets better each year and the out-and-back route follows some of Arkansas’ best rural farmland. The terrain is not completely flat nor are there any long climbs. Make plans to ride this Central Arkansas Century next year.
Ride Description: Ride begins at Jubilee Family Church, 45 Thunderbird Drive, off Hwy 69E, 2 miles past Wal-Mart. (Just before DHS) at 8:00am Saturday May 10, 2014. This is a supported ride, with at least 3 rest stops, with refreshments provided. This is for riders of all skill levels-the roads wind through gently rolling hills, not much flat but no major climbs. It is an out-and-back ride, 50 miles each way, so riders may choose any distance up to 100 miles. Registration is $20. $10 for FT students and 18 and under. Helmets are required for all riders.
