BENTONVILLE, Ark.—(June 12, 2024) – Bentonville, Arkansas remains open for business despite recent tornado damage. The city prioritizes the safety and well-being of residents and visitors during this recovery period.

While some local trails experienced closures due to the storm, Bentonville is happy to announce its weekly reopenings. Hikers and bikers can still enjoy numerous nearby options. Over 200 miles of trails within Northwest Arkansas offer easy access from Bentonville. Thankfully, trails in Bella Vista and Fayetteville remain fully operational.

The City of Bentonville, Bentonville Parks & Recreation, and Trailblazers, a local non-profit, are working tirelessly to restore affected trails and ensure their safe public use as soon as possible. “We encourage everyone to continue enjoying the outdoor activities our region offers,” said Kalene Griffith, CEO, Visit Bentonville. “You can still enjoy a wide variety of cycling opportunities in Bentonville and the surrounding areas, and we welcome your visit. Our community appreciates your understanding and patience as we work to get all of our unrivaled mountain biking trails back up and running during what we believe will be a relatively short recovery period for the portion of our trails that are still under restoration.”
