Updated Access Information (July 31, 2023)

You now have the opportunity to obtain or renew a yearly sportsman pass from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 8 pm. The Camp Robinson Recreation/Sportsmans Pass provides access to the mountain bike trails, which are also suitable for running and hiking. Additionally, it offers hunting and fishing opportunities on the post. This is the easiest way to get a pass since the days of buying a pass at the local bike shops (pre-9/11).

For over 30 years, Camp Robinson has granted access to local mountain bikers. It boasts the oldest trail systems in Arkansas and has played a significant role in making mountain biking a popular outdoor activity for Arkansans. The unique single-track trail system, spanning over 40 miles, was built by volunteers and has improved the lives of countless soldiers and community members by providing a safe space to exercise while enjoying the natural beauty of Camp Robinson.

The nonprofit organization CATA coordinates volunteer trail maintenance and hosts mentorship rides for Youth Challenge students on Camp Robinson’s trails. Hundreds of local high school students participate in mountain bike racing practice with their NICA teams on the distinctive trails of Camp Robinson to improve their bike handling skills. The improved accessibility of the recreation pass is a testament to Camp Robinson’s unwavering commitment to the community.

You have two options to access the trails: a Day Pass or a Recreation Pass. The former allows a one-time entry and requires repeating the complete process for each visit. This option is ideal if you can only visit on weekends or if you have a friend visiting. The latter provides a year of trail enjoyment with minimal hassle. To obtain either pass, you must bring your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.

If you plan to ride regularly at Camp Robinson, it is advisable to get a pass. The pass will make it easier to enter Camp Robinson, and passes are available at the front gate on two days each week.
