CONWAY, Ark. (Sept. 4, 2025) — Conway is gearing up for a month-long celebration of cycling this fall with the return of Conway Regional Health System Biketoberfest. The 2025 edition will feature rides and events across multiple cycling disciplines, giving riders of all ages and abilities a chance to join the fun.
Biketoberfest showcases Conway’s diverse cycling amenities with four main formats: road, mountain, gravel, and community rides. Events will take place at parks, trails, pump tracks, and other family-friendly venues throughout October.
“Conway Regional delivers curated care through personal and intentional experiences, blending access with excellence,” said Conway Regional Health System President and CEO Matt Troup. “Supporting Biketoberfest reflects that same commitment as we encourage healthy, active lifestyles throughout our community.”
A Bicycle-Friendly City
Conway is recognized as a silver-level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Cyclists, making it the most bike-friendly city in central Arkansas. It is one of only eight Arkansas communities to earn the designation, with more than 60 miles of paved shared-use paths, bike lanes, and shared-lane markings crisscrossing the city.
2025 Biketoberfest Schedule
Presented by Caldwell Toyota and Meridian Investment Advisors, this year’s Biketoberfest kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 5 with the first ride of the month. Highlights of the schedule include:
Biketoberfest Kick-Off Ride
- Sunday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m.
Mountain Bike Ride at Meadows Tech Park
- Sunday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m.
Taco Ride at Caldwell Toyota
- Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
At the same time as the Kick-Off Ride and Mountain Bike Ride, free indoor cycling classes with Amanda Castillo will be offered at the Conway Regional Health & Fitness Center.
Celebrating Conway’s 150th Birthday
As Conway marks its 150th anniversary this October, Biketoberfest is encouraging participants to log at least 150 miles during the month. Cyclists can meet the challenge through virtual rides, Biketoberfest events, or their own personal rides throughout October.
