The city of Conway will present itself as a cycling enthusiast’s paradise this October as it hosts Biketoberfest, a month-long celebration highlighting its robust network of bike-friendly amenities. The event, sponsored by Conway Regional Health System, Caldwell Toyota, and Meridian Investment Advisors, will feature a diverse range of rides catering to cyclists of all levels, from seasoned road warriors to casual family outings.
“Conway Regional has been caring for our community for more than 100 years,” said Conway Regional Health System President and CEO Matt Troup. “That’s why we are thrilled to partner with the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce to advocate for Conway’s burgeoning cycling community through Conway Regional Health System Biketoberfest for the past four years.”
Recognized as the most bike-friendly community in central Arkansas, Conway boasts an impressive 60 miles of dedicated bike lanes, paths, and trails. This achievement, solidified by a recent Silver-Level Bicycle Friendly Community designation from the League of American Cyclists, underscores the city’s commitment to cycling culture.
Biketoberfest kicks off with the Rogue Roundabout Biketoberfest Kick-Off Ride on Sunday, October 6, and will include a variety of events throughout the month, such as road races, mountain bike challenges, gravel grinds, and leisurely community rides.
With a focus on both experienced cyclists and families, the festival aims to showcase Conway’s vibrant cycling scene while promoting health and wellness.
