Five days of racing to bring riders and fans from across the country to Centennial Park
Fayetteville is set to take center stage once again as the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships return to Centennial Park, Dec. 10–14, 2025. The five-day event will bring elite athletes, local riders, and fans together for a week of fast-paced racing, food, and family-friendly festivities in one of the country’s most recognized cycling cities.
This marks the first of two consecutive years that Fayetteville will host the national championships, reinforcing the city’s growing reputation as a destination for world-class cycling and outdoor recreation. The event will feature dozens of categories and age divisions, showcasing everyone from youth racers to elite professionals. Spectators can expect food trucks, a beer garden, coffee vendors, and a kids’ mini-course designed to make the event accessible and fun for all ages.

Races will unfold at Centennial Park, a purpose-built cycling venue that previously hosted both the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships and the 2022 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships. The park’s rolling terrain and spectator-friendly design make it an ideal venue for the sport, known for its mix of mud, barriers, and high-energy crowds.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend, boosting local hotels, restaurants, and shops. Select races will also stream online, bringing national attention to Fayetteville’s thriving cycling scene.
With more than 100 miles of shared-use and natural-surface trails, including those at Centennial Park and Kessler Mountain, Fayetteville has earned a reputation as a top cycling destination. The city is recognized as the first UCI Bike City in the United States and holds a Gold-level Bicycle Friendly Community designation from the League of American Bicyclists. Outside magazine recently named Fayetteville one of the “Best Bike Towns in America,” underscoring its commitment to cycling culture and infrastructure.
The 2025 championships will further cement Fayetteville’s place as a leader in U.S. cycling, setting the stage for another year of national competition in 2026.
