Slaughter Pen Jam has become a full blown festival complete with music, food, demonstrations, runs and of course bikes. Here is some more information on the 2014 version happening this weekend. We’ll be there all weekend taking it all in. Even if you can’t make all three days, plan to be there for some of the events on Saturday or the racing on Sunday. It’s going to be a grand time in Northwest Arkansas.
Friday, September 5th (on the Square)
5:30pm -Trail Exhibition featuring US National Champion Mike Steidly & Hungarian National Champion Adrian Lengyel followed by BMX Stunt Show by Real Encounter, as featured on America’s Got Talent. (If for some reason it rains, the demos will be moved to the Nazarene Church right off of the downtown square.)
Saturday, September 6th (at Slaughter Pen)
7:00am -The Pen Opens/10K Trail Run Begins
8:00am -Registration/Breakfast Begins
9:00am -Course Opens
10:00am -Poker Ride
11:00am -Youth & Adult Guided Rides
12:00pm -Trails Exhibition
1:00pm -Slow Races/Guided Rides
1:30pm -Ladies Ride
2:00pm -Tire Toss
3:00pm -Drag Races/Guided Rides
5:00pm -Villages Closes/Dinner Ride to the Bentonville Square
6:30pm -Bicycle Social Hour

Sunday, September 7th (at Slaughter Pen)
7:00am-Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series Race. The full day’s racing schedule is available on their website. We highly recommend you get there early to enjoy the kids races.
