As part of National Bike Month, Bicycle Advocacy of Arkansas (BACA) has partnered again this year with Ditch the Keys and others to promote both bicycle usage and Ozone Action Days in central Arkansas. According to the Ditch the Keys website:
Ozone Action Days is a public awareness program that educates central Arkansans about the harmful effects of ground-level ozone. Ground-level ozone is the bad type of ozone that is created when pollutants such as vehicle exhaust, chemical solvents, and industrial emissions mix with sunlight. Know what the air index is by keeping up with Ozone Action Days.
