Please join host the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists for the Annual Battle For Townsends Ridge XC Race at Hobbs State Park! This race is part of the AMBCS series.
Kids Race Free (Juniors 14 & under)! The OORC has waived all Junior registration fees for the race in a continued effort to make mountain biking more accessible for our youth. Parent Note – Kids 13 and under are allowed to get a FREE yearly license or will need to hold a one-day or annual USAC license for insurance/liability and those may be purchased in the pre-registration process for just $10 (one day). AMBCS waives the $20 hard plate fee as well.
All racers are required to purchase a one-time AMBCS hard plate at the first race they attend during the season for $10. Juniors 14 and under are FREE!
There is NO on-site registration available.
All racers are asked to enter the State Park down Piney Rd. (paved) and follow the arrows to the event grounds located at the parking lot along Townsends Ridge Rd. NOTE: Townsends Ridge Rd from Hwy. 12 will be closed to auto traffic the morning of the event.
Riders need to check in at registration, but your wait time should be a minimum. If this is your first race of the season you will need to purchase an AMBCS hard plate for $20.
Please remember that there is a very good chance that the person or persons assisting you on race day are volunteers and have donated their time. Please be courteous and thank them for their volunteerism.
Lunch will be served for all participants/attendees.
