Film Friday

Last night in Little Rock I was lucky enough to attend the Mountain Film On Tour event at the Ron Robinson Theater. The event was sponsored by Ozark Outdoor Supply and was the place to be if you are part of the outdoor adventure community in Arkansas. Heck, it was the place to be no matter who you are. The 13 films presented covered everything from an elderly blind woman who conquered her fear of swimming to a Nepalese kid who dreamed of changing his families fortunes by becoming a professional mountain biker, an almost 100-year old man with more life than anyone you know to a woman who found an intersection between mountain biking and art. The films were uplifting, empowering, and tributes to the human spirit. Here is a taste, 3 films from the tour, none of them very long.

Thanks again to Ozark Outdoor Supply for bringing the festival to Little Rock. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be another show nearby. Feel free to share this post and videos and look up some of the films on the Mountain Film Website.
