The Jones Center Bike Festival is gearing up for an action-packed weekend from November 1-3, bringing together a vibrant mix of family-friendly events and competitive cycling races in the heart of downtown Springdale. This annual festival will feature three marquee events—the OZ Kids™ Crit, Adventure Race, and Scavenger Hunt, and the Pump Track Championship finale—making it a must-attend for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. Hosted at the Jones Center and its Runway Bike Park, the festival offers free admission for spectators and promises a fun-filled atmosphere with additional attractions like a vendor village, a kids’ zone, and food trucks.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, Nov. 1, with a community BBQ from 5-7 p.m. offering free hot dogs, hamburgers, and race registration opportunities. The Jones Center has partnered with Pedal it Forward to donate bikes to local children, ensuring that even more kids can take part in the festivities. Saturday morning brings the OZ Kids™ Fat Tire Crit for children ages 2-10, allowing young cyclists to race around the course and experience the thrill of competition. Later in the day, families can team up for “Adventure Ozark: OZ Kids™ Edition,” a race and scavenger hunt where teams will explore the Jones Center and solve clues.

On Sunday, Nov. 3, the festival culminates with the highly anticipated Pump Track Championship, presented by Hyper Bicycles. Cyclists of all experience levels, from seasoned pros to first-time riders, are invited to participate in timed runs and knockout heats on the Runway Bike Park’s state-of-the-art track. Riders can compete in various categories, with races for both BMX and mountain bikes. The event will run from 9 a.m. until the awards ceremony at 5:45 p.m., offering non-stop action for participants and spectators alike.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can also explore the vendor village, enjoy food from local trucks, and take part in activities at the kids’ zone. The Jones Center Bike Festival not only offers a chance for fun and competition but also supports a worthy cause, with proceeds going toward the Jones Center’s outdoor programming initiatives. Jones Center members can enjoy a 20% discount on registration fees.

With its mix of giveaways, races, and family-friendly activities, the festival promises to be a celebration of cycling and community. Registration is now open at thejonescenter.net, and participants are encouraged to sign up early for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.
