Due to the threat of inclement weather and hazardous conditions Saturday morning, the 2025 Run Bentonville Half Marathon has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 6 at 6:30am.
After consulting with weather professionals, we’ve confirmed that Saturday poses a high risk of storms with significant lighting and flooding, while Sunday morning’s forecast shows very low weather concerns — making it the safest option for runners, volunteers, and spectators alike.All race events (Half Marathon, Relay, and 5k) will now begin at 6:30am on Sunday — 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled.

The Health & Wellness Expo and packet pickup are still happening Friday, April 4, from 10am–7pm at The Record (104 SW A St.).
We hope to see you on Sunday morning, but we understand that travel plans or other commitments may prevent some from joining us. If you’re unable to participate on Sunday, please email run@bentonvillear.com by April 30 with proof that you completed the race distance. Participants traveling in for the event, we will gladly mail your race items. Local participants will be able to pick up their items at the Bentonville Community Center starting on Monday, April 7.Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize safety and keep this 15-year tradition strong!

Bentonville is set to host the 15th Annual Run Bentonville Half Marathon on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the downtown square. Approximately 4,600 participants are expected to compete in the Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and 5K race, presented by Walmart and Nestlé. This milestone event reflects the city’s growth since the inaugural race in 2011, showcasing new buildings, artwork, parks, and trails.
The racecourse offers runners a scenic tour of Bentonville, from the historic downtown square and vibrant market district to the rolling hills and trails of North Bentonville.
Festivities commence with the Run Bentonville Health & Wellness Expo and packet pickup on Friday, April 4, at the Record, 104 SW A Street. Sponsored by Orgain, the expo welcomes runners and guests from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Race Day Information
On race day, Saturday, April 5, road closures will begin by 6 a.m. Affected areas include intersections on 2nd Street, Main Street, NE A Street, Central Avenue and J Street, McCollum Drive, John DeShields Boulevard, Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, 5th Street, SW A Street, Bella Vista Way, and one northbound lane on Walton Boulevard. Motorists should anticipate brief delays, as closures will follow a rolling schedule corresponding with the progression of runners.

The Half Marathon and Relay, presented by Nestlé, McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, and JUNK Brands, will start on Central Avenue next to the Benton County Courthouse. The 5K will commence on Main Street at 3rd Street. All races conclude in front of the historic Walmart Museum.
The Bentonville Square will serve as the venue for the post-race celebration, hosted by CamelBak. Entertainment will feature music by Dawson Hollow from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., providing enjoyment for participants and spectators alike.
