We’re hearing a lot about the shop local movement and we are all for it. Let’s take it a little farther. We have been blessed at Arkansas Outside over the last year to get to know many of the employees and owners of local bike shops, running shops, workout businesses, outdoor shops, restaurants, etc. Let’s make new friends this holiday season.
Take some time and introduce yourself, smile, shake a hand. Make a point to revisit these shops. These are an often neglected part of our community. They are not the nameless, faceless owners of multinational businesses. They are your neighbors, they have a stake in the community.
Also greet each other, I’m always running into friends while visiting these places.
