Starting this June, cycling enthusiasts can enhance their skills through hands-on learning experiences.
(BENTONVILLE, Arkansas) – June 4, 2024—NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) invites community members to register for the Bicycle Technician Program’s new Bike Tech Community classes, which will be held on Saturdays during June.
The program is offering four biking community classes designed for those wanting to learn essential bicycle maintenance.
The courses are the following:
- Advanced Bicycle Mechanics – June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Fix a Flat & Tubeless – June 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Quick Tune & Clean – June 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Suspension Basics & Maintenance – June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist looking to fine-tune your bike or a beginner eager to learn the basics, these classes offer valuable knowledge and practical expertise.
“We are thrilled to expand our community education offerings by introducing the Community Bike Tech classes,” said Ben Glenn, director of the full-time Bicycle Technician Program at NWACC. “Our goal is to support the growing cycling community in Northwest Arkansas by providing accessible and high-quality training for bike enthusiasts of all levels.”
All courses will be taught at NWACC’s state-of-the-art Bicycle Technician Lab in Bentonville.
