Pine Knob Mountain Bike Park Grand Opening Announced

Angry Dave's Closing

The City of Russellville Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the River Valley chapter of the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists (an International Mountain Bicycling Association Local Partner) is pleased to announce plans for the grand opening of Pine Knob Mountain Bike Park on June 10th, 2023. Pine Knob is located within the Confederate Mother’s Memorial Park and was built for the purpose of improving an unmaintained park and providing community access to mountain bike trails and other recreational amenities.

Pine Knob Mountain Bike Park includes a balance bicycle course (for children as young as 18 months to 3 years old) along with progressive, skill-improving trails for riders at any level of riding. The trails are designed as shared-use and accessible for hiking, running, and biking.

This park is 100% volunteer fundraised and constructed by two professional trail companies (Natural State Trails & Affordable Trail Solutions) and over 800 hours of volunteer time. This park is RVOORC’s gift back to the community.

RVOORC is a local chapter of Ozarks Off-Road Cyclists headquartered in Fayetteville, AR, and a Local Partner of the International Mountain Bicycling Association, the worldwide leader in mountain bike advocacy. RVOORC/OORC/IMBA are 501c3 nonprofit organizations.

  1. This is the best bike trail I’ve ever seen… I really like the pergola and wood work incorporated with it.
