(Arkansas Outside note: An interesting move by Arkansas Tourism. Do you think it will work? Will a temporary pump track in the middle of Denver bring tourism dollars to Arkansas? We do know that Bonnie Montgomery is a great choice as a musical ambassador. This may take advantage of several daily non-stop flights between Denver and Northwest Arkansas and Little Rock.)
Arkansas Tourism and Matador Network announce an event to promote tourism in Denver, Colorado
DENVER, July 26, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Denverites know a thing or two about outdoor adventure, with the mountain playground of Colorado’s Front Range sitting on their doorstep. But here’s a fact that might come as something of a surprise: They can find equally thrilling landscapes and adventure opportunities by looking East. Arkansas is calling.
Just a day’s drive or short flight away, The Natural State awaits with expanses of forested mountains, sprawling and scenic lakes and rivers, and a network of parks that keep it all in pristine condition. From mountain biking to kayaking, hiking to fishing, Arkansas promises all the adventure activities Denverites love in terrain that will feel as fresh as it is breathtaking.
To help spread the word, Arkansas Tourism has teamed up with Matador Network to host an Arkansas-themed event at Denver’s McGregor Square, just across the street from Coors Field. Attendees can stop by anytime between noon and 6 PM MDT on Saturday, July 29 to check out a mountain bike pump track, live music from Arkansas’s Bonnie Montgomery, mindbending chalk art photo ops, refreshing Arkansas ice cream, and the chance to win big with exciting prizes.
The event is FREE and open to all. More details can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/arkansasoutside-the-ordinary-tickets-677367082177
