We did an article on the Ouachita Challenge a couple of weeks ago complete with lots of photos. We shot some video and a friend riding in the race even carried a helmet cam for most of the race. All video was an epic failure. Good stuff got erased by accident, the helmet cam never powered up (my fault) and all we really had was a little bit of some folks riding one little non-technical area. Sometimes, things go wrong.
As it turned out, a friend of a friend had shot quite a bit of helmet cam footage on the race and had agreed to get me the raw footage. We’ll, let’s just say our bad video karma continued and we never got hooked up. But there is some good news here. Our new friend, Matthew, went ahead and did an edit of his footage. In his video the camera got turned on us. At about 40 seconds in you see me sitting on the ground taking photos as everyone rode by and then at 48 seconds you see Lisa also taking photos. We go by quickly but hey, we made the final edit.

P.S. I do know how hard it is to pick out music but Ace of Base? Really? Matthew, we need to talk. 🙂
