The Turkey Trots are Coming!

Yes, we know, it’s not even Halloween yet but the stores are already full of Christmas displays and we feel we need to make a gentle reminder. DON’T FORGET ABOUT TURKEY TROT SEASON!

It’s that time of year folks, when we start thinking about the leftover Halloween candy and quickly move to the warm, savory foods of late Fall. Those huge meals and football watch parties begin to take their toll on our mid-drift.

Luckily, it is also Turkey Trot Season. It’s the time of year when we need that little extra push out the door to get a run with friends in. Many of these races are charity runs working to help folks who might be missing out on meals or other basic needs.

Luckily, Arkansas has plenty of these runs to choose from. Here is a quick list. Please let us know of any turkey trots we need to add to the list.

Saturday, November 11 –

Gobbler 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon – Two Rivers Park 6722 Two Rivers Park Road, Little Rock, AR, United States – All finishers will receive a themed medal. The race starts at 8:00 AM.
