The Year in Pictures 2013

Iron Mountain Legend

It seems we got around to doing a pretty good bit in 2013. It was a big year for Arkansas Outside; we actually had our own beer for a while until our fans drank it all up. Thanks to Vino’s for making that happen (before you ask, we hope to have it back in the Spring, time will tell.) While covering races, Lisa finished her first 50K trail run and her first road marathon this year. Due to inclement weather, Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day wasn’t as big as 2012 but Cyclofemme and Race the Base were bigger than ever.

Thanks to all those who have contributed articles and those who’ve supported us by purchasing stickers, AO Recovery Drink Insulators and AO Noggin Insulators. Also a big thank you to our advertisers:  DLT Event Management, Spokes Little Rock, Go! Running, Fayettechill, The Community Bicyclist, Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters, Orbea, and Arkansas Cycling and Fitness.

Here is a sample of the events we covered and participated in. We took tens of thousands of photos this year, so many great photos and great memories that it would be impossible to choose  favorites so I kept the photos to only two events per month:
