Time to Catch Up

Shift 20240815

So last Tuesday I was whining about not wanting to get up early and run. Fortunately, I was able to go for a ride Tuesday after work and redeem myself. I rode the mountain bike across the big dam bridge, through Burns Park and then up the Emerald Point trail, through Ft. Roots (It was beginning to get dark) and then back on the river trail and the Big Dam Bridge. About 13 miles total with a tough climb in the middle.

On Saturday I did another night ride with Lisa. This time on the road bikes on the river trail. About 18 miles and much of it in pitch black. Good ride.

Yesterday was a 5 mile trail run/walk. Pictured below, it was rugged and hurt but I held on to Lisa. It was an out and back and I carried the GPS to check distance. Later, we checked on some geocaches that I am responsible for and headed home. That run hurt.

  1. Joe-
Running sucks. The sooner you learn it, the better off you'll be.

We're doing a costume ride Oct 19th @ 3PM. Easy slow loop of the Rivertrail with a hotdog cookout after. Get me an email address for you (bmph8ter at gmail dot com) & I'll forward you the info.

    Be there or be square!!!
