New Start Line Location and Routes for Wampoo Roadeo on July 19 in Keo, Arkansas

Little Rock, AR – The highly anticipated Wampoo Roadeo is back with exciting updates for this year’s ride on Saturday, July 19, now set to take over the charming downtown of Keo, Arkansas. With a fresh new Start Line location and five brand-new routes, participants are in for an unforgettable experience. After the ride, join us for lunch and dessert on Main Street, where we’ll serve up tamales, margaritas, Loblolly ice cream, and refreshing chocolate milk.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Wampoo Roadeo to Keo this year,” said Charlie Hart, President of the Board for Recycle Bikes for Kids. “This move not only gives us more room to grow, but also provides a beautiful setting for a great day on the bike. Downtown Keo has the space, charm, and energy our riders will love, and we’re excited to create an unforgettable experience with great food, cool treats, and five new routes. We look forward to welcoming everyone for an incredible day of cycling and community!”

Event Highlights Include:

  • Convenient Parking and Shady Hangouts: Keo offers ample parking and shady spots for post-ride relaxation and refreshments.
  • Sterling Market Sprint: Riders can compete in the “Sterling Market Sprint,” a designated Strava segment marked by checkered feather flags along the route. The fastest cyclists through this one-mile stretch will win prizes from Sterling Market, located in Little Rock’s East Village, offering local foods, drinks, and products.
  • Club Tents at the Finish Line: Cycling clubs are encouraged to set up tents near the Finish Line for some post-ride fun. However, please avoid parking at the Keo Post Office.

Supporting Recycle Bikes for Kids’ Mission:

The Wampoo Roadeo is a fundraiser benefiting Recycle Bikes for Kids (RB4K), a non-profit dedicated to providing free bikes to children and affordable bikes to adults. As RB4K grows, its expanded mission includes supporting community bike infrastructure, safety initiatives, and education. Proceeds from the event will fund these efforts and continue to honor the legacy of Marilyn Fulper.
