Extreme winter weather across Arkansas is prompting organizers to postpone multiple running events originally planned for this weekend. Icy conditions and widespread power outages have raised safety concerns for runners, volunteers, and event staff. Below is a roundup of schedule changes confirmed as of today.
David’s Trail Endurance Run Postponed
The team behind the David’s Trail Endurance Run in Mountain Home announced that the event will be rescheduled for February or March. In a public statement, organizers explained that the venue is expected to have little to no power and that facility limitations will not allow them to safely host the race as planned. They added that safety, logistics, and the overall experience for runners and volunteers guided the decision. A revised date will be announced as soon as details are finalized.
