FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Several popular trails in Fayetteville will be temporarily closed or impacted April 17-19 to accommodate the 2025 Ragnar Trail Arkansas relay race.
The trail-running event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, will bring teams to the singletrack trails on Millsap Mountain at Centennial Park and through the forested terrain of Kessler Mountain.
In preparation for the race, the following trails at Centennial Park will be closed to the public:

Pop Rocks

Red Rum

World Championship Course

At Kessler Mountain Regional Park, only the Flight Training trail will be closed on Saturday, April 19.
Spectators are welcome at the event but should be aware that trail access will be limited during race times. Attendees are encouraged to carpool or consider walking or biking to the park, as parking may be limited.
Centennial and Kessler are two of Fayetteville’s five regional parks, which also include Lake Fayetteville, Lake Sequoyah and Lake Wilson.
The Ragnar Trail Series brings runners together for overnight relay-style races in scenic outdoor settings, making Fayetteville’s trail system a fitting venue for the Arkansas edition of the event.
