FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Square 2 Square Bike Ride, a premier cycling event in Northwest Arkansas, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025, commemorating a decade of promoting cycling and community engagement along the Razorback Greenway. The event, a collaborative effort between the City of Fayetteville’s Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs Department and Bentonville Parks and Recreation, has become a biannual fixture, drawing cyclists of varying skill levels.

Spring registration is now underway for the ride scheduled for Saturday, May 3. The route will traverse the Greenway from Bentonville to Fayetteville, concluding in the Upper Ramble off Dickson Street. The Fall Ride, slated for Saturday, Oct. 11, will reverse the course, guiding participants from Fayetteville to Bentonville.

To commemorate the 10-year milestone, organizers have introduced a limited-edition Square 2 Square cycling jersey, available for purchase as an add-on during registration. Orders for the commemorative jersey will close on March 5.

“Square 2 Square has helped connect our communities through cycling and outdoor recreation for 10 years,” stated Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs Director Alison Jumper. “This event is a celebration of active lifestyles, sustainability and the incredible trail system we have in Northwest Arkansas.”

For cyclists seeking a more flexible experience, a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Ride option will be offered throughout the month of May, enabling participants to complete the course at their own pace. All registered riders, regardless of participation format, will receive a Square 2 Square Bike Ride goody bag, a tri-blend event T-shirt, branded socks, and a finisher medal.
