The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, has rereleased the USACE Little Rock Water Level App, a resource for anglers, navigators, paddlers, and park visitors across Arkansas and southern Missouri. Initially launched in 2013, the app has undergone a complete rebuild to enhance performance, improve the user experience, and ensure reliable access to critical waterway data.

“While we regret the app’s temporary downtime during the redevelopment process, we sincerely appreciate your patience and are confident that users will find the new version well worth the wait,” said Jay Townsend, Chief of Public Affairs for the USACE Little Rock District.

The Apple iOS version is available for download, with the Android version expected to be released within the next few days. Users can search “USACE Little Rock” in the App Store or Google Play to download the free app. While an update option may be available, officials recommend deleting the old version and installing the updated one.

The updated app, developed using feedback from user polls and social media input, provides:

  • Current lake levels, forecasts, and turbine releases

  • Arkansas River forecasts and stage data

  • Projected generation schedules from the Southwestern Power Administration

  • Real-time streamflow data from the U.S. Geological Survey

  • National Weather Service data and forecasts

The app remains a key resource for the towing industry, recreational boaters, anglers, and others needing up-to-date water condition information throughout the Little Rock District, including the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.
